Safe Voices Therapy Dogs
Say hello to two new staff members!
In 2022, Safe Voices staff was thrilled to add two therapy-dogs-in-training to our team!

Meet Ollie!
Oliver (AKA Ollie), the older of our two therapy dogs, is teamed with owner/handler Katrina, who is the Safe Voices Sex Trafficking & Exploitation Outreach Coordinator. Ollie and Katrina started a year-long therapy dog and handler training program in September, 2022, and while his training is ongoing, Ollie accompanies Katrina to nearly all her Safe Voices work, including time in the office and out in the field meeting with survivors, community members, and members of law enforcement and legal agencies. Ollie has a TikTok account where we share updates on his work and training and use his experiences at Safe Voices to educate followers about domestic abuse and sex trafficking and the work Safe Voices does within our communities.
Meet Jefferson!
Youngster Jefferson joined his owner/hander Alyssa — our Program Manager of Community Engagement — in October, 2022. Jefferson has already passed his temperament test with flying colors and regularly comes to the office with Alyssa. Now that his training has officially started, visiting lots of new places and meeting lots of new people is the name of the game! Jefferson may not have a TikTok like Ollie, but he does love Venmo and thinks it would be pretty paw-some if you donated to Safe Voices by finding us there. Our username is @safevoices on the Venmo app.
