This is the official website for Safe Voices, formerly known as the Abused Women's Advocacy Project (AWAP).

The Mission of Safe Voices is to support and empower those affected by domestic violence and engage the community in creating social change in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties.

Save the Date: Walk To End Domestic Violence

This year's Walk to End Domestic Violence will be held Saturday, June 2nd, 2012, at Simard-Payne Police Memorial Park in Lewiston. Registration begins at 9am, opening ceremony 10am, events until noon. Wellness, children's activities and snacks will all be part of the programming. Prizes this year include a 3 month membership for the whole family to the YMCA!
